Transactions to mobile wallets are paid out instantly unless it is your 1st transaction with SimbaPay. Your 1st transaction may take up to 2 business hours to process due to the identity verification procedures in place for new customers.
We are compensated for the foreign exchange risk we take given we offer our customers fixed exchange rates. Market exchange rates do change every second, however we understand out customers prefer knowing exactly how much they have to pay and exacty how much their loved ones will receive.
We will request Safaricom to reverse the incorrect transaction. If the reversal is successful we can resend the transaction less a small KES 22 charge.
If the reversal is unsuccessful, we’ll be unable to resend the money and you will have to conduct a new transaction if you’d like funds sent to the correct number, so please ensure that you carefully check all mobile wallet numbers you are sending funds to.
We will request our banking partner to reverse the incorrect transaction. If this is successful we can resend the transaction.
